Bryce Gossett - CPO, Cped is an American Board for Certification (ABC) Certified Prosthetist, Orthotist and Pedorthist. He joined the clinical team at Teter Orthotics and Prosthetics in 2017 to provide service to Grand Rapids and Western Michigan. Bryce entered the orthotics and prosthetics profession in 2010 as a laboratory technician and continued to pursue education and training toward obtaining his credentials as a Certified Pedorthist, in 2011. Bryce then moved on to Northwestern University in Chicago, IL to complete training in both prosthetics and orthotics. Bryce has specialized clinical training in fracture management, scoliosis bracing, limb salvage, and wound care. Outside of the office, he and his wife, Lauren, enjoy outdoor recreation, water sports, and their dog, Chewy. He has many personal interests including cooking, metal fabrication, machining, and design.
Dan Higgins - CO
Ladd Lorenz - CP is a native of Grand Rapids, MI. He received his Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from Grand Valley State University in 1992. He continued his education at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, where he received his Prosthetic certificate in 1995. In addition, he worked as a prosthetic technician at Creative Orthotics and Prosthetics in Grand Rapids. Ladd then did his prosthetic residency at Mary Free Bed Hospital and Rehabilitation Center. He worked at Mary Free Bed from 1996 until 2003. During this time, he also regularly attended the Adult Regional Amputee Clinic and the Children's Center for Limb Differences Clinic. Ladd was a member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists, earning the distinction of 'Fellow' in 2000.
Ladd joined the staff at Teter Orthotics and Prosthetics in 2003, where he was an integral part of the expansion of the company into the mid and southern regions of Michigan where he currently manages several offices. Over the past 25+ years, Ladd has established himself as an expert in the field of prosthetics. He is comfortable in any prosthetic situation and enjoys helping his patients achieve their goals with the use of current technologies and sound prosthetic principles.
In his free time, Ladd enjoys spending time with his wife of 25 years and their college-aged children. He also likes to travel, spend time in the gym and golf.
Matthew Duncan - CO is an ABC certified orthotist and board eligible prosthetist with over 20 years of experience in the field of orthotics and prosthetics. He started out as a young technician who eventually felt the need to help more people by moving into a clinical role. He's a graduate of Northwestern University and has worked with diverse populations throughout his career. Matthew spent nearly 12 years in Miami, FL working almost exclusively in pediatrics, before moving back to his hometown of Grand Rapids, MI. Matthew is a creative, outside-the-box thinker who enjoys a challenge.
Rex Brown - CO is a native of Hastings, Mi and has been practicing in the Field of Orthotics since 1992. He obtained his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in 1991 and went on to Northwestern Medical School's Orthotic Certificate Program the following year. In 1993, he became an ABC Certified Orthotist and has been practicing Orthotics in West Michigan ever since.
Rex spent 23 years with the Orthotics and Prosthetics group at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital. While working in the rehabilitation setting, he focused on expanding his expertise in the field of Pediatrics. He also served as the Residency Director for Orthotics, where he mentored countless students and orthotics residents. Although he primarily works with children, Rex is also experienced in treating adults of all ages.
He recently transitioned to Teter Orthotics & Prosthetics, with the goal of establishing a second Grand Rapids office for the company, which is located centrally downtown on the Medical Mile. Rex's Orthotic experience transcends all age groups and diagnoses. He is passionate about caring for his clients and often accommodates his patients and their families by seeing them at their convenience, or sometimes in other settings besides his office.
Ricky May- Resident is a native of Grand Rapids, MI. Ricky graduated from East Kentwood High School in 2013 and went on to graduate from Hope College in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomechanical Engineering. He received his Masters of Science degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Eastern Michigan University in April 2019. He started his residency in May 2019 to become a board eligible prosthetist and orthotist. Ricky is excited to be a part of the Teter family and is looking forward to contributing to the team. Ricky
enjoys most outdoor activities but especially golfing and football. He loves spending time with his family and friends. Ricky also enjoys cheering for the Detroit Lions and finding new restaurants to try.
