Our Computer Aided Design and fabrication of upper and lower extremity Prostheses provide superior fit and function to the amputee. As a part of our quality assurance program, we currently provide follow-up rechecks for our prosthetic patients. We also provide a wide range of Foot and Arch products including Custom molded and Extra depth shoes, as well as New Balance brand footwear. Arch supports range from accomodative cork arch supports to posted Custom molded U.C.B.L.s. Also, under new Medicare and BCBSM guidelines, we can provide you diabetic patients with Custom shoes and protective diabetic inserts. Currently, we are providers for Medicare, BCBS, Medicaid, Veterans Administrative, HMO's PPO's, and several Managed Care Ins. groups. We at Teter O & P beleive that information and updates on new products and designs are important to provide your patients with the best care possible, so we encourage questions you may have concerning Otthotics & Prosthetics, or treatment for you patient. We will be happy to arrange an in-service at your office or facility, at your convenience. Custom-Made Items:Custom-made is defined as the process of making a device that is specific to the individual. The custom-made item is built to fit only you. Due to the nature of the custom-made item, a refund cannot be issued for the item nor can work halt on it in the middle of the process. Once agreement has been reached on the making of a custom-made device the patient is responsible for payment hereon (even if patient refuses, or does not pick up device). Please be sure to ask you Practitioner what the estimated cost will be and also check with your insurance carrier to see if they will cover this cost. Returns / Refunds:Many items will require adjustments to the fit. Your Orthotist or Prosthetist will tell you what to watch for. Please call immediately if you have any questions about fit. Adjustments or repairs due to normal wear after the 90 day warranty period will be charged. Policy does not allow the return of soft good items (i.e., corsets, knee cages, collars, stockings-once the package is opened, arm slings, etc). Returns on custom-made items will not be an accepted return unless there is a known deficiency with workmanship (refer to custom-made section). Warranties:Custom made items are guaranteed for a period of 90 days under normal conditions of wear. Custom fit is defined as a pre-manufactured item. Custom fit items have a 30-day warranty. |
