Limbs 4 Life

Limbs 4 Life is an offshoot of Midwest Medical Mission.  Since 1985, the Midwest Medical Mission has traveled to the Dominican Republic to provide medical care to the poor.

To provide prosthetic limbs and restore ambulatory function to people in developing countries.

If you are an amputee, consider donating your used limbs or bequeathing your limb to our cause

Our next trip is planned for February, 2018 when we will fit 16 amputees, but we need funding to make it happen.

Limbs 4 Life was created to channel contributions to a volunteer effort to bring prosthetics to amputees in developing countries.

In three short years, sponsored by Teter Orthotics & Prosthetics of Traverse City, Michigan, a group of medical professional volunteers have fitted forty-five amputees and are in the process of creating sixteen more for waiting young people.

Along with the success of this mission has come demand in the form of waiting lines at each visit by our prosthetic team and the effort has begun to outstrip current donations (volunteer team members pay their own costs).

Consider a contribution to the Limbs 4 Life Mission.  Your generous contribution will have a dramatic, positive impact on the life of a young person in a way that would otherwise be impossible.
